I’ve had a love /not-love relationship with my brain for pretty much forever. It’s only in recent years I’ve become more and more focused on understanding how it all works, and how it can work better for me.
When it comes to learning, I literally struggled for years and years and years, to get through various courses. It was only when I had the opportunity to expand my own teaching skills that I had the epiphany that if we taught students how to learn they would be empowered to create a learning (or life in general) experience that would work for them AND be a complete game changer.
